Brian S. DeLay, MD
Dr. DeLay has made several national research presentations and is published in orthopedic sports medicine literature regarding anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions. In addition, he is certified in cartilage transplantation for knee cartilage defects. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North Carolina Medical Society, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. In 2008, Dr. Delay became one of the first orthopedists in the nation to take and pass the new subspecialty certification exam in orthopedic sports medicine administered by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. DeLay joined Charlotte Orthopedic Specialists (now OrthoCarolina) in September of 2003 as a specialist in sports medicine. He serves the Lake Norman and North Charlotte area from the Huntersville and Mooresville offices.
