Alexander W. Chasnis, MD
Dr. Chasnis is a physiatrist practicing at the OrthoCarolina Spine Center. He specializes in the non-operative management of spinal disorders, including the use of diagnostic and therapeutic selective spinal injections and electrodiagnostics. After earning his Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Dr. Chasnis attended Wayne State University of Medicine in Detroit, where he earned his medical degree. He continued his training with an internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Charlotte Institute of Rehabilitation and a spine fellowship at Orthopedic Specialists of the Carolinas in Winston-Salem. Dr. Chasnis is an active member of the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the International Spine Intervention Society
