THE JOINT CELEBRATION COMMUNITY HEALTH FORUM, WELLNESS WALK AND BIONIC OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT - April 18, 2008
Hosted by the OrthoCarolina Research Institute.

Held each spring to celebrate successful total joint replacement surgery and restored quality of life for "bionic" patients (those with total joint replacements), the one-day event includes a community seminar that is free, and open to the public entitled "Living Well With Arthritis/Living Well With a Joint Replacement."  Speakers include OrthoCarolina Total Joint Surgeons, OrthoCarolina Sports Therapists, and an Integrative Health Physician. Afternoon activities include the Bionic Open Golf Tournament and Wellness Walk for patients, physicians and sponsors. 12th Anuual Spring Symposium - The Adult Hip & Knee - April 12, 2008. 8:25 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The program is intended for physical therapists and other healthcare professionals involved in the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic patients.
Current information on prevention, assessment and management of selected injuries of the hip and knee will be presented.  The registration deadline is March 28th, 2008 and the fee is $105.00.

The 28th Annual Oscar Miller Day symposium, "New Concepts in Foot & Ankle Surgery."
 

The symposium is held annually to provide a quality educational opportunity for orthopedic surgeons and related healthcare professionals in our southeast region. This educational activity and is jointly sponsored by the Carolinas HealthCare System and the OrthoCarolina Research Institute and will offer AMA PRA Category I Credits.
