There are several things to consider before doing an orthopedic surgery. As with any type of surgery, there is a risk of infection after the orthopedic surgery. There is also the length of the recovery and if you will have to have any type of rehabilitation. Some types of orthopedic surgery can take quite a while to get completely over.
